We believe strongly in sharing the hope, peace, purpose, and life of Jesus Christ as described in the Bible. It’s one of our defining purposes, based on the command of Jesus Christ Himself in Matthew 28:16-20.

We’re also involved in meeting needs of hurting people locally, nationally, and internationally—including everything from local church food pantries to staffing the nation’s third-largest volunteer disaster relief organization. It’s a natural expression of God's profound love for us.

None of this is exclusive to Southern Baptists, of course. We work hand-in-hand with other evangelical Christians and churches across the U.S. and around the world.
